At the forefront of the Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Program, one of the most important in the world is the 7th grade coral belt Alexandre Paiva, also known as master “Gigi”. Married to Daniela Genovesi and father of three, Mestre Gigi, athlete of many titles, charms everyone not only for his technique but for his family style of being and his friendliness.

The Alliance team consolidated each year becoming one of the most important Jiu-Jitsu schools in Brazil and in 1997 began its world expansion with the inauguration of the first international branch in Finland, followed by the branch of New York in 1998. Today the Team Alliance has approximately 340 branches spread around the world and is a 14x world champion which shows the strength, dedication, and unity of this team.
